What Is Good Governance?

Professor Nagengast spoke today at the American Corner about defining good governance. Think for a minute...to you, what is a good government? What does a good government do? Meet the needs of the people? What are the needs of the people? Who decides what the needs are? Ensure everyone can afford food and eat but not promote human rights? Strictly adhere to human rights principles but not build schools, roads, or hospitals because it cannot afford to? What makes a good government?

The outside.

The professor imparting his wisdom.

In the library area of the American Corner reading about kittens and America (whadya know?) Could a library be any better stocked?
